I've heard from someone that this dotting technique is called "steeple" in English. ^_^ I've learned it for a series of illustrations for a bone determination method (scientific drawings, perhaps not very appropriate to show here ) But I couldn't resist to use the technique for my one of my own comic characters as well. PErhaps I will show some of the plant pictures I'm working on now, also scientific, but with a more artsy look.
