Finally coloured in this picture. I think it's not too bad. Though some of the lines I wish I could have changed.

I'm also a bit worried that the hard lines and the subtle colouring doesn't always match. Does anyone have feedback on that?

I have to agree with Afke here, perhaps it's simply your own taste that wants softer lines? It doesn't take away the fact that you did a job here. Of course the artist is the biggest critic of their work, naturally you see things that you feel you could have done better, but as a person who didn't create this piece I say, well done. I think watercolouring really suits you as a medium :)

Thanks you ^^ Sometimes it really helps to have someone else's view on a work like this. I see so many mistakes *ahh* But if someone else can look at it and enjoy it I guess it doesn't matter much. I'm liking watercolour more and more.

And you have to keep in mind, a lot of 'mistakes' aren't necessarily mistakes just personal preferences and perfectionism. I know what it's like, we artists are all the same ;)

I love how this turned out. :) I love what you did with the fabric, that pattern on her clothes is beautiful.
I do not agree about "harsh" lines clashing with the colors though. There are different forms of art. One is drawing, and in drawing lines can get a lot of attention. And your linework deserves that attention! You just keep looking for what you think works.
This one gives a bit of that old European comic book feel, like Buddy Longway. Is it mainly watercolors, or are there some markers in there as well? I love this combination with your lines. Well, what can I say, I love good linework. ;)

It's all watercolour :) Thanks for the vote of confidence on my linework. I will try some more in this direction after all then! After all, it's only the second drawing I made in this style, so I'm still getting to know it.
